torrent sites
« on: January 07, 2019, 05:08:55 PM »

Most of the sites that appeared at the same time as Demonoid have all but disappeared, those left are all pale shadows of what the once were and have all lost the personnel touch , Demonoid's strong point, that made them different.I still occasionally receive mail from those who downloaded some of my uploads dating back 15 years, some that are now still available on other sites, but were first uped to Demonoid. Be interesting to see if Demonoid  will once again return.

+1 on hearing from downloaders through the mail who are grateful for the
content.  I'm cautious on giving out mail but some have had contact whom I
did not know at all.  It's gratifying.  I think my oldest 'old demonoid' uploads before any shutdowns is 12 years.

Will see if I can make some progress with offlinebay.  I acquired the program but have not
set it up yet.  And I'd like to hear any knowledgeable criticism of this off line
program which downloads a source file of content which is the searchable.

It's possible it works like BitChe by Chip Warner which I have mentioned.
BitChe will do a search, report torrents and their sites and can open direct to begin
download.

You tube videos are available for offlinebay.

Keep in mind, a lot of sites such as ExtraT, has decided to go "underground." I interpret that to mean they decided to go the route of USNETS. I really don't understand that at all. I was never attracted to USNETS. I'd much rather have a seedbox, and go where ever the hell I want, and have unlimited access.

What is KAT's web address? Every since they went down I cant find them except fake copies of the site. But at the same time I wasn't really looking to hard because I had dnoid. But it would be nice to go back and visit KAT.

The one I use is https://katcr.co/new/full/. Don't know if it's genuine or a copy, but I get books from it including the Calibre NIRC packs.
